PageShare Technologies Signs Bundling
Deal with WebConference.com
Online teleconferencing and meeting portal
customers to can now enjoy instant Web page sharing without
waiting for downloads or permissions
CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Dec 23,2002 —
PageShare Technologies, a leading provider of Web-based cobrowsing
solutions, today announced a partnership with based WebConference
(www.webconference.com), a leader in real-time communications
infrastructure for online meetings and tele-conferencing.
The partnership will enable WebConference to bundle PageShare’s
100% Web-based cobrowsing technology into its existing Web
conference and tele-conferencing services.
PageShare’s streamlined cobrowsing
technology will provide Web conference with an alternative
to its traditional application sharing programs that enable
Webpage screen sharing. Instead of sharing the entire desktop,
as in application sharing, PageShare Cobrowse uses a proxy-server
architecture to mirror Web browsers, enabling one or multiple
users to instantly share the same view of each others browsers.
PageShare also includes a shared pointer
to guide viewers through specific areas of a Web page, and
joint-form filling capability which enables users to fill
out and submit forms together even on secured pages.
